The Frontier Culture Museum is a living history museum that tells the story of the thousands of people who migrated to colonial America during the 1600s and 1700s. These early immigrants created a life here for themselves and created American folk culture from the blending of European, African, and indigenous peoples. This complex is located in historic downtown Staunton and contains the birthplace of Woodrow Wilson, known as the “Manse,” which is now a museum.
